| Description: | A British Army (BA) mobile patrol in the Creggan area of Derry. This photograph was taken soon after the deployment of British troops in Derry in August 1969. Notice the canvas covering on the Landrover vehicles. When the honeymoon period ended and the BA came into conflict with the local population these vehicles were replaced with ones with armoured plating. |
